My name is Dave Fortman and I am a Creative/Art Director and Graphic Designer based in Rochester, New York. the city that raised me to be hardworking, resourceful, and to never take myself too seriously. I bring vast experience in logo design, web design, apparel design, social media campaigns, storyboarding, video production, branding, tech packs, motion graphics, packaging, and more. I am always striving to improve and hone my skills.
I have 10 years of experience working in-house, as a freelancer, and at a couple agencies. I believe that my combination of creativity, humor, and diligence can truly make a difference in the work I do. I’m stoked to work with like minded people who not only want to create but also want to have fun doing it.

Responsibilities include pretty much everything under the creative sun. This includes, Online Marketing > Look-books – For new and current products (bikes, parts, apparel, etc.) Online Banner Ads – Web banners and skins for online media websites Social Media and Promotional Content – Contests, header graphics, sale flyers, etc. Online Catalogs – Full length product catalogs, flipbooks, etc. Social Sites – Updating and maintaining look of social media pages, icons, etc. Email Newsletter – Creating newsletter templates and campaign assets Website > Site Redesigns – Full site redesigns every 2-3 years Site Updates – Update site banners, marketing imagery, catalog embeds, etc. Print Marketing > Print Ads – Campaigns and designs for print magazines Promotional Print – Catalogs, brochures, mailers, and posters Video Content > Thumbnails – Thumbnail creation for videos Graphics – Graphics and motion graphics for riding or product videos Direction/Production – Working closely with videographer(s) Concepting – Creating concepts, storyboards, etc. for promotional videos Product Artwork >Graphics – Creating graphics and logo treatments for new products Packaging – Package design with graphic treatment for bikes and parts Bikes – Creating and choosing paint colors, graphics, packaging design, etc. Promotion – Sticker packs, banners, ramp stickers, flyers, merch items, POP items, etc. Manuals – Product instructions and guides Apparel Design > Designs – Creating t-shirt, sweatshirt, jackets, hats, etc. designs each season.
