I have broad experience in various fields that has assisted in shaping my character and role.
My 'why?'. I come from a culture of patience, loyalty, love and understanding. I seek not to become the master of one yet I seek to learn and become more knowledgeable in every aspect of life. My interests differ quite drastically as I enjoy new challenges and seek for change for the better. My wish is to learn from every experience in my career in order to grow and provide value wherever I go.

Outline
I realised I had to give some time back to my community so I decided to volunteer at the local chapter of Creative Mornings. My role at this chapter saw me assisting the co-host with various tasks and co-ordination of activities during the events.
Key responsibilities
• Event MC - Running through the event housekeeping rules and agenda, speaker introduction
• Speaker research - In-depth research done into the speaker in order to create a short bio to introduce the speaker to the event.
• Attendee liaison - Welcome attendees to the event, answer any questions about the event and the speaker, networking with attendees post the event.
• Assistance of new volunteer onboarding
Highest Accolade
• Assisted the Speaker liaison in securing a highly recommended and highly successful speaker for one of the events which turned out to be an almost fully booked event.

• Overseeing of two short course advisors and ensuring processes are adhered to
• Assist advisors with onboarding of new students
• Liaising with Marketing to redefine enrolment processes

• Acquire new Corporate Training clients through cold calling, emailing (BASHO), event networking and multiple social media strategies.

• Got our very first large corporate training deal with propelled us into the market
• Along with my wonderful team, I pitched a proposal for training within a big media house (Media24) This saw us land a R2mil deal which is set to run on an annual basis.

Outline
My role at Virtual Creations saw me travelling frequently to various events nationally. My duties were to manage the pre-event setup and assignment of equipment according to a brief, the actual setup and running of the registration and any technology installed by us at the event. Additionally I would do the technical setup, client liaison and management of staff.

IT Technician · Correia Supplies
Outline
After completing my A+ and N+ I decided to pursue a career in IT. My job at Correia Supplies was intense to say the least. With my colleague and manager we took care of more than 20 offices that had roughly 10 - 200 computers. This included PC builds, PC repairs, technical support, software installations. Additionally, we setup networks and CCTV systems for some of these clients which saw us running 10000's of metres of cables and setting up more than 20 cameras at a time.
