Management of an R&D environment in disciplines such as writing systems, failure analysis, pen characterization and ink/media testing and wet labs. Providing support for testing on new products and processes, enabling revenue growth in the Inkjet business space. Oversaw up to 11 supervisors and 230+ support staff. • Efficiently managed an organizational transition to a Managed Service Agreement (MSA) between HP and LioNBRIDGE Technologies in a number of testing support areas within San Diego and Corvallis – effectively reducing support costs in these areas by ~30%. • Effectively executed the Global Workplace Initiative (GWI) as San Diego Site Implementation Lead responsible to vacate one building and collapse occupants into remaining site buildings – significantly reducing operational costs for the overall site. • Provided guidance and leadership to my supervisor team to initiate cost saving efforts to our support processes on an annual basis – assisting in the definition of efforts, tracking of progress-to-plan and reporting to Operational and R&D management on the savings and successful outcomes.
