• Resourced raw material vendors and enforced Prop 65 compliancy. • Negotiated pricing for raw raterials and new equipment acquisitions. • Place Purchase Orders to China vendors. • Place Purchase Orders for raw materials for domestic production. • Managed domestic and China production schedules to insure orders ship on-time. • Trouble shoot any production issues that would put on-time deliveries at risk. • Investigate and implement avenues for quality improvement, increased productivity and cost reduction. • Create and issue Work Orders for in-house/domestic production. • Conducted daily morning meetings with domestic production and floor supervisors relating to the review of production status, any problems that may arise and staying incompliant with customer quality specifications. • Conducted weekly production meetings reviewing China production orders. • Managed freight forwarder bookings from China tracking shipments for on-time receipt of goods. • Work directly w/ China factories
