I am a creative and productive visionary leader, who has built a million dollar retail swimwear/sportswear company from the ground up.

As a senior-level professional with a strong history of business and financial results through commitment to my customers, amazing vendor relationships, and a razor-sharp focus on product development and quality, I have a proven track record in implementing operational improvements to streamline purchasing, receiving and display to maximize inventory turns, reduce waste, and increase profit.

Over my career, I have built and sold or passed along several profitable businesses, including supervising the complete buildout and ramp up of a frozen yogurt store, training a team of 20 associates. I also leveraged all-encompassing knowledge of start-up operations to grow a clothing manufacturing business, including quality control, design, shipping, and sourcing fabric companies and sewers.

Vision, tenacity and incomparable problem-solving skills have helped me to achieve success in every endeavor, along with a very seasoned ability to develop highly effective business practices that achieve results others might deem impossible.

As a leader, I have mentored countless employees for my own companies, as well as providing effective sales trainings for partner companies throughout the U.S. and Canada, tailoring my approach to their particular skills as necessary. I have self-published a book based on my mentoring experience titled, "It's All About You."

I built this million-dollar retail swimsuit business from the ground up, opening 4 stores within 10 years. Cindy's Swimwear is known for providing a large variety of swimwear and swim accessories with concierge-style service and attention to detail. I am the principal decision maker/buyer with complex orders, selecting merchandise, placing orders, and reviewing success to determine future inventory. Dealing with ~60 companies and carrying ~5000 units per store, and with years of experience in purchasing and negotiation, I research new trends in product lines to make buying decisions, leading and directing teams to the next level of success. Over this time period, I have launched numerous targeted marketing initiatives, introduced new products, services, events and promotions, and provided highly effective sales training centered on importance of asking the right sales questions and follow-up questions to both large and small sales teams for swimwear and sportswear companies in the U.S. and Canada, resulting in 50%-60% higher sales per team member. Created strategic sales, marketing, and merchandising plans that expanded the company's customer base. Trained highly meticulous staff specializing in fitting each woman’s body type to meet customers’ unique needs.
