Visual designer, constantly pushing to find the balance between his passions; the great outdoors and graphic design. There's a lot of time for self reflection when you're pushing yourself up a hill on a bike and plenty of room for developing critical thinking skills when you're a foot from your next clip after running out an overhung route, I seek out these opportunities to grow as an individual and a professional. There's simply some things you can't learn inside the classroom. I am equally driven to the peaks of mountains as I am to clean, effective design. I've spent years leading outdoor trips ranging from backpacking expeditions, kayaking tours, camping trips, to mountain and road bike rides. From this, I've learned to trust myself and my team, to think critically, work under immense pressure, and my own leadership style. I have been the lead graphic designer at Cal State University, Monterey Bay's Recreation department for 3 years. In this position, I have developed flyers, brochures, booklets, posters, digital billboards, sticker illustrations, graphic identities, photography, and social media content. My design skills include - Typographic Design - Photography - Illustration - Typesetting - Basic HTML / CSS
