Directed and educated entry-level team members on accounting and auditing techniques and software. Planned and executed financial statement audits of local governments, special districts and nonprofit organizations in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards. Assisted in client’s posting of journal entries, general ledger review, and preparation of financial statements. Performed tests of transactions over client’s purchasing policies to ensure that policies were successfully implemented.
