My first Job that had relation to my major from college was a kayaking guide. I was at that specific job/company "Paddling Michigan" for the summers of 2019 and 2020. I plan to get certified for an American Canoe Association (ACA) Level 3 Coastal Kayak Instructor. My most recent job that I had was this past summer 2021 at the Department of Natural Resources of Michigan (DNR). My recent job experience at the DNR and Paddling Michigan has taught me to be patient and accommodating while working in an environment where you interact with guests. I recently had an internship for the city of Petoskey Parks and Recreation department. Working with various tools and heavy machinery while also being involved with different tasks around the downtown area. This past I acquired a WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certification. I am flexible with scheduling and very open to learning new things.
