I am excited to be embarking on a new and exciting opportunity to re-join the JL Audio team. In my new role as the Marketing Director I will manage the daily activities of the Marketing team, setting goals and strategies for JL Audio’s marketing initiatives in the car audio, home audio, powersports and marine product categories. I will work closely with our Sales Departments to coordinate sales and marketing efforts, set priorities and guide the execution of these projects.

Formulate and implement a dynamic marketing strategy to propel the brand to new levels of consumer awareness through traditional and digital marketing channels. Develop creative communications to approach new business verticals with the solution products we offer as well as engineer services we provide. Responsible for establishing a cohesive budget to accommodate a wide array of marketing initiatives including sales support collateral, installer/dealer point-of –purchase programs, sponsorships, national advertising and an e-commerce website. Manage an internal marketing support staff along with all external freelance and contract service providers. Analysis and report ROI metrics for all marketing programs along with providing detailed direction for continuation or alternate initiatives based on results.

I severed as the visionary, story teller and project manager for the creative staff as well as the production manager for the department. I oversaw all print projects from inception through fruition, including managing the print budget, quoting, press checks and determining the fit and finish for each project. I also coordinate all the video and photography sessions from booking talent to site scouting, set selection and story boarding. Wow! It's a full load but someone has to do it, right? And that's not to mention any of the processes and schedules that I put in place to make sure nothing fell through the cracks for any of the 7 brands under the cooperate umbrella.

Responsible for determining product demands, monitoring competitors and identifying potential growth opportunities. Develop pricing strategies and maintain Rockford’s profit objectives, while ensuring the retailers and consumers were satisfied. Oversaw product development by working with various company departments and outside vendors. Followed by collaboration with marketing to develop point of sale collateral. • Developed and launched an Add-On Product sales campaign, including unique product concepts with point of sale collateral tailored specifically to the separate needs of two of the Nation’s largest retailers, Wal-Mart and Pep Boys. This campaign resulted in additional stocking units in the retailer’s assortment. • Coordinated a supplier conference in Asia to expedite a crucial product launch. Approached with an exciting business venture to evolve a line of mobile audio accessory products that would be distributed not only by Dobbs-Stanford within their respective sales territory, but nationally as well. Development responsibilities included hiring and maintaining an infrastructure of sales representative agencies, establishing a business structure to operate independently from the main corporation and creating the point of sale collateral to support the accessory lineup. • Established a complete business and national sales infrastructure in 8 months.
