Production Artist & Designer II for the International department. Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop CC 2019, are the forefront tools for package design and production. • Importing the die line into Illustrator and using the artwork from the render was needed to create the design and lay flat. Organized named layers, high resolution embedded images, die lines with CYAN and Red lines that specify folds, spot color call outs, slug information & stickers/labels created in PDF format with 100% MAGENTA .5 line width cut area. Preparing a sticker/label on acetate & clear sticker/label stock, there must be an RGB 30% grey underlay to preserve the whites in the labels, a bleed is also mandatory. The size of the labels varied according to the printer you were printing on and the size of paper or clear stock you were using. • Know how to use the printers and trouble-shoot any problems that occurred. Creating outlined files of all completed artwork was included. • I wrote copy for back packaging with added recipes and instructions formatted in Illustrator. I worked closely with project management, Merchandising, die line engineer and creative to meet deadlines and transfer final art to the international server.

Work simultaneously on different projects; create marketing collateral, websites and other media. Consult with clients regarding marketing and copywriting to create cohesive designs. Prepare artwork for print, web, digital in the format requested using Adobe Creative CC, Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.

Analyze label design inputs (branding guidelines, regulatory requirements, redlines, etc.). • Create label templates that maximize reuse across multiple final, print-ready labels. Designers will use loftware Spectrum for all online printed labels and InDesign or Illustrator for pre-printed components. • Establish and maintain design criteria and style guide to be used by team. • Label types include online and pre-printed label (Tyvek, tray label, boxes, etc.). • Adhere to strict timelines, maintain revision control on all documentation and actively communicate all required information (such as changes in scope of label revisions) to design team. • Track status of label template design work and provide regular updates to supervisor and other project team members. • Train new team members on design.
