By working her way up over the last 20 years from a pattern maker to the Global Creative director of a major athletic brand, Andrea has the ability to wholisitically view the go to market process with a strategic lens. Work Experience

Global Creative Director of Apparel

New Balance

2007 – 2013

• Transformed process to be a global business by interacting with global merchandise partners • Traveled globally to research consumers and trends, and met with regional senior leadership members to strategize future business needs • Met twice annually with senior leadership to present and determine long term apparel strategy. • Created channel specific organization to address different requirements of running elite specialty, big box, and NB branded stores • Set the trend, color, and design direction for all categories and to our licensee partners • Owned fashion, graphic, and fit direction for all apparel divisions • Co-organized and lead in the bi-annual global footwear and apparel global color/trend week • Created and presented color and trend collateral for apparel for both our domestic and international design staff • Presented concepts and collections at international sales meetings, major accounts, and internal senior leadership. • Grew apparel team from 3 designers to 11 in a collaborative team environment. • Conceptualized and created the unique sub yoga brand Anue • Provided separate seasonal design direction and co-designed the Anue collection

Note: Dec 07 purchased by New Balance • Provided creative direction to all private label athletic apparel collections (primarily Sports Authority Aspire and Academy) • Presented design concepts, linesheets, and sales samples at sales meetings to private label partners and their upper management • Directed the design team to execute seasonal design vision as well as personally designing collections • Incorporated customer feedback into final designs

• Designed four collections a year for both the active and Yoga collection • Created technical spec packages for all items designed • Managed the fit and comment process to factories through a pre-production coordinator from proto type through production • Managed, sourced, and approved all trims, fabrics, and lab dips • Created graphics and prepared them for camera ready art • Attended trade shows, both, in the industry and trend versions • Presented the collections to Sales staff and major accounts

• Designed two seasonal innovative collections a year of women’s and men’s Triathlon, Swim, Cycle, and Run apparel, and a complementary accessories collection • Created technical spec packages for all items designed • Created, sourced, and approved all trims, fabrics,(including lab dips), and graphics • Collaborated on the design of all Zoot marketing tools, i.e.; Web site, workbooks, catalogues, ads, and PR kits • Aided in the hiring of pre-production and production staff • Attended trade shows, both, in the industry and trend versions • Presented the collections to Board members, sales staff, and accounts major and small
