Industrial Designer inspired to question norms, explore creativity, and improve quality of life for the individual & the planet through design.

Originally an apparel designer, I gained my industry experience as a technical designer/product developer in the juvenile industry ranging from infant hosiery to hard good design. This led me to Arizona State University where I completed my master degree in Industrial Design.

Now, I push the realm of traditional design by cultivating great product experiences with purpose. Product can't just be "pretty" anymore, it should make the user feel something, fulfill the desired need & be respectfully and responsibly designed... & that is the challenge I am here for.

-Managed Technical Design team to develop, review & evaluate high liability product (soft & hard goods) in the newborn, infant, toddler accessories, hosiery, shoes & cut & sew travel goods markets from creation to production -Communicated cross-functionally & partnered with internal teams, including, product integrity/quality control, sales, design & merchandising; and with external customers such as Target & Wal-Mart technical teams -Reviewed competitor & similar product patents to avoid product infringement -Created & maintained construction & graded specifications for all product categories including owned & licensed brands -Communicated approvals, rejections & changes with oversea vendors & factories -Worked with design, merchandising, sales & production planning departments to implement cohesive & on time development calendars
