- Communicated with stakeholders; clients, developers, patients, and customer service representatives to gain insight into everyone’s goals and needs. - Conducted patient surveys and interviews to challenge assumptions. Uncovered that 62% of patient tasks are checking their prescriptions delivery date. - Preformed comparative and competitive analysis on 10 industry-leading iOS health apps to align with best practices. - Generated 50 sketches, 10 user flows, and a persona. These were tested internally to validate site map, web responsiveness, layout, and other features. - Created 30 mid-fidelity wireframes for desktop and mobile to perform usability testing with patients. The results were high task completion in both responsive prototypes.

- Designed, developed, and tested 3D printed prototypes for a variety of possible headset configurations. - Collaborates with engineers to optimize design features and configurations. - Curated clinical trials for an Acute Mountain Sickness Study. - Monitored and documented product performance, both hardware and software for product validation and iterations. - Created aesthetic CAD models and detailed component views for marketing and funding presentations.

- Strategized with Bay Area market brand managers on REI’s upcoming events as well as partnering organizations events in the region. - Worked with Experience Managers to enroll retail staff in unfilled classes to deepen their understanding and broaden their experience with in-store products. - Collaborated with store managers and staff to market outdoor classes and experiences to customers in-store to increase class size. - Communicated with organizations, venues, REI retail, parks, and others to ensure event logistics ran smoothly. Responsibilities ranged from organizing permits, accommodations, students, weather reports, etc. - Directed climbing, mountain biking, & kayaking classes to optimize customer engagement providing educational and pleasurable outdoor experiences.
