We are looking for a Receiving Pallet/Depal Operator who will bring support, organization and above all else, personality to our team. It is important to us that this person has the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to the position. The operator’s objective is to move cartons from conveyor to pallet and pallet to conveyor, and operate systems to locate stock for replenishment.
The notable responsibilities of the Receiving Pallet/Depal Operator are:
• Perform keyboard transactions to operate core systems, such as Mandate
• Use of RF Scanner
• Operation of RC Truck
• Manually place empty pallets into bang boards using established procedures
• Manually place cartons on assigned pallet
• Release completed pallet for storage
• Remove unidentified, torn, or damaged cartons for processing wave
• Manually position pallet onto lift table
• Scan cartons as designated
• Handle invalid cartons following procedures
• Stack broken or damaged pallets in designated area
• Maintain established expectancy and accuracy goals
• Use Mandate to identify locations of stock for replenishment to RSS or processing for current need
• Give work to Turret/RC operator to retrieve pallets for replenishment or processing
• Pull cartons from racks for replenishment or processing
• Placing cartons on conveyor from pallets to go to receiving induction.( Replenishment & Depalletization)
• Taping damaged cartons, as needed
• Operate High Rider equipment to put away and pull solid cartons
What the Receiving Pallet/Depal Operator already has:
• High School diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse experience is a HUGE BONUS
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, or
• Ability to use a handheld scanner, or
• Experience driving a pallet rider and/or fork truck
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Excellent number correlation
• Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities
• Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong team orientation
• Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
• Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly
• Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.
